Wahoo Fitness has released a newly updated version of its popular bike computer, the Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt.
Below is a list of the new features compared to its predecessor:
• Added colour display with more colours
• Full routable mapping (similar to the ROAM)
• Added onboard elevation data to map sets
• Added colour data fields (heart rate and power zones)
• Interface fonts have changed
• 16GB internal storage (previously 4GB for the BOLT and ROAM)
• Has almost all Europe, North America and Australia maps preloaded (the rest of the world maps can be downloaded)
• Buttons have been repositioned and are easier to press (especially with gloves)
• Has a USB-C port
• Quicker to charge
• Battery life is still the same at a claimed 15hrs despite the improvements to the unit
• Battery cap can be replaced unlike the previous version
• Slight increase in size and weight (up to 70g from 61g)
• Added ambient light sensor (screen can automatically adjust based on the lighting conditions)
